Doxara Dachshund Puppys Sales Agreement

Please review the terms and conditions below carefully and complete the form to acknowledge and sign our sales agreement. This contract is entered into between Doxara Dachshunds (referred to as the “Seller”) and the Buyer identified below. The purpose of this agreement is to ensure the health, safety, and lifelong well-being of the puppy and to establish the responsibilities of both parties.

1. Health and Wellness Guarantee

Doxara Dachshunds guarantees that your puppy is in excellent health at the time of adoption and has received age-appropriate vaccinations and routine deworming treatments. We are committed to providing healthy, well-socialized puppies and offer the following health guarantee:

a. Veterinary Examination

The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven (7) days of receiving the puppy. If the veterinarian determines that the puppy has a serious illness or congenital defect that existed before delivery, Doxara Dachshunds will refund the full purchase price, including transportation costs, upon the return of the puppy and supporting veterinary documentation.

b. Genetic Health Coverage

Doxara Dachshunds guarantees the puppy against life-threatening hereditary defects for the lifetime of the dog. Should two (2) licensed veterinarians diagnose a qualifying hereditary condition, the Breeder will, upon return of the puppy and supporting documentation, either:

  • Replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value, subject to availability; or
  • Refund the full purchase price, including transportation costs.

c. Communicable Diseases

If the puppy is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with a communicable disease within fourteen (14) days of delivery, Doxara Dachshunds will refund the full purchase price, including transportation costs, upon the return of the puppy and supporting veterinary records.

2. Transportation and Delivery

a. Shipping

If transportation is required, the Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses. Doxara Dachshunds works with trusted and reputable pet transportation providers, and complete travel information will be provided prior to departure.

b. In-Person Pickup

Families choosing to pick up their puppy in person are required to submit a non-refundable deposit of $475 to reserve the puppy. The remaining balance is due in full at the time of pickup.

3. Purchase Price and Payment

The full purchase price must be paid before the puppy is released to the Buyer. For puppies being picked up in person, a non-refundable deposit of $475 is required to reserve the puppy, with the remaining balance due upon pickup.

4. Buyer's Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to provide proper care for the puppy, including:

  • Nutritious food and clean water
  • Safe shelter and regular exercise
  • Routine veterinary care and vaccinations
  • Appropriate training, socialization, and companionship
  • Compliance with all applicable state and local laws regarding pet ownership

The Buyer understands that proper care and regular veterinary attention are essential to maintaining the puppy's health and well-being.

5. Entire Agreement

This agreement represents the complete understanding between Doxara Dachshunds and the Buyer. Any modifications or amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties. By completing the purchase of a puppy, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
